Like every love story, ours started with a moment we could never have fully understood at the time. What began as two students meeting in the halls of Sun Valley High School grew into years of friendship, commitment, distance, laughter, patience, and love – all leading us to this beautiful season of engagement.

Julia and Brandon’s story began at Sun Valley High School, where two young lives crossed paths and a friendship started to grow into something much more meaningful.

One of their first unforgettable memories together was Julia’s junior prom – a night filled with excitement, laughter, and the beginning signs of a love story that would continue to unfold for years to come.

What started in high school slowly became something deeper. Through shared memories, growing trust, and countless moments together, Julia and Brandon fell in love and began building the foundation for their future.

Their love continued through six years away at college, with Julia attending Rutgers University and Brandon attending West Chester University. Even with distance, busy schedules, and new chapters unfolding, their relationship remained strong.

After nearly ten years together, Brandon finally asked Julia to marry him in March 2026. It was a beautiful next step in a love story that began years earlier and continues now as they prepare to become husband and wife.

What began as a special trip to New York City for Julia and Angela to see a Broadway show became the beginning of a moment Julia would never forget. Unbeknownst to Julia, Angela had been carefully helping to arrange a surprise engagement, with Brandon waiting nearby in Central Park for the perfect moment to ask the most important question of their lives.

They met near a quiet pond, where the scene seemed almost divinely prepared. A great blue heron stood nearby, still and watchful, as though it had arrived just in time to witness the proposal. Long regarded as a symbol of patience, grace, peace, and spiritual presence, the heron added a quiet beauty and deeper meaning to the moment. Nearby, a pair of geese — lifelong mates and symbols of devotion, loyalty, and partnership — seemed to complete the scene, waiting along with everyone else for the joyful announcement.
